Understanding DNS
DNS is used by Web Browsers, such as Internet Explorer and Firefox to convert friendly domain names (www.example.com), to raw IP addresses (10.20.30.40).
DNS is also used by email servers when sending messages to other servers.
If the DNS services are experiencing issues, you may notice a slight delay in your website being displayed as well as email being delivered slowly.
